Bout of Books Read-A-Thon...

I am SO excited!! It is my first time to particiapte in the Read-A-Thon over at Bout of Books...

Bout of Books

The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, May 13th and runs through Sunday, May 19th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 7.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog.

My Goals for the week...

Since this is my first read-a-thon to participate in I am not sure how ambitious I should be in my goals! Since I don't want to get to big for my britches I am going to aim low and learn from the experience!

Goal 1: I plan to read 4 of the following 7 books...

The Dinner -Herman Koch
Let it Snow -John Green

Speak -Laurie Halse Anderson

The Silver Lining Playbook -Matthew Quick

Tumbleweeds -Leila Meacham

City of Bones -Cassandra Clare

Knights of the Hill Country -Tim Tharp

Goal 2: I would like to find some awesome new blogs and connect with some awesome bloggers!

I will be posting updates everyday and what I am going to call "mini reviews," or the overall like-ability of the book and a quick synopsis!

I am SO excited for Monday!!!! YAY!!!

Happy Reading, Sugars

  2. I really liked City of Bones so I hope you enjoy that. And I haven't seen Silver Linings Playbook movie yet, but I want to. I didn't realize it was a book too. Good luck with your goals!
